The fire station consistantly brings students and community member by to learn more about their work, so they wanted to make sure the mural would be a great photo opportunity for anyone who stops by. The once drab brick wall has now been turned into a vibrant landmark for the city.
Shown below is a photo of the wall before we painted anything, followed by the mockup of the design next to the finished mural!
While I was there, I became friends with several of the fireman on duty. I had such a great time hearing the stories and what life actually looks like for them... and they even allowed me to try on some of the fire equipment, shoot water from a fire hose, and ride along in one of the firetrucks. It was such a cool experience!

I have such a new appreciation for everything that service men and women do for our communities, and am humbled to have had the opportunity to create this mural for them!

The community in Snyder seemed to really resonate with the mural, and I could tell that it gave the station a great way to interact with everyone who comes to visit. I am tremendously blessed to have been a part of this project, and I can't wait to do more projects like this in the future!
Murals are incredible assets for cities to engage their communities in a unique way. Murals convey essential messages, provide great opportunities for PR events, and create a tremendous sense of pride. If you are interested in having a mural like this for your space, click the button below!
