The building that we chose for this project faces North Treadaway Street in Abilene and used to be a warehouse for the railroad. Now used as a warehouse for 83 Entertainment, this massive wall acts as a vibrant new landmark for the city that residents can enjoy for many years to come!

Working together with the Abilene Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, and Texas Monthly Studio, we had a ribbon cutting ceremony that allowed city officials, volunteers, and residents to celebrate the unveiling of this new mural together. News outlets and reporters were all in attendance to broadcast the event, and it was an incredible experience!
Along with the Ribbon cutting, this mural has received attention from several local / state wide media sources. This mural was selected to be featured in the August catalog of Texas Monthly Magazine, and was also featured on the Coca-Cola Mural Project Map on the Texas Monthly Website! We also made the front page of the Local Newspaper, along with having several news stations do segments on the new artwork.

This project was completed with the help of two other amazing artists: Jake Messa and Pezer97. Jake is an mural artist from Houston, and Pezer97 is a graffiti / mural artist based out of California. This was one of my largest murals to date... and I wouldn't have been able to do it without their help!

The community in Abilene has really resonated with the mural, and I can tell that it gives people so much pride in the city. I am tremendously blessed to have been a part of this project! It truly was one of the most fun experiences that I've had painting murals, and I look forward to taking on other large scale projects like this again soon!
