The focal point of this mural is the Roscoe grain elevator, which is a historic centerpiece of the town. Rising above the skyline of the rest of the town, this one of the most recognizable landmarks of Roscoe. As homage to the grain elevator's history, I was able to recreate the lettering that has since faded from the building using the photograph shown below as reference!
We also incorporated several windmills in the background of the composition, which cover most of the surrounding countryside around Roscoe. I had a blast incorporating so many pieces of Roscoe's history and culture into this mural!
By incorporating 6 of the previous school logos along with the modern logo & typefaces, the mural represents both past and future academic & athletic success. These logos are an important part of the school's history, and this mural encapsulates them for future generations to appreciate.
I was also able to digitize many of the previous mascots that were only available in physical drawings or paintings, which will allow the school to better preserve the history of their school.

Located in the gymnasium next to the concession stands, this location is a busy location at the school. The hallway is wide enough to ensure that people taking photos with the mural do not block the flow of traffic in the hallways, and will allow people to enjoy the artwork while purchasing snacks at the game!
